New Magic Theater and Store to Open in Oklahoma

“Scheduled to open in the fall of this year, in a small nondescript town in Oklahoma, is the Magic Showplace Theater & Rabbit-in-Hat Magic Shop.
Complete with three intimate show rooms, that seat 10 to 12 people each, including a refreshment area and an old time Magic Shop that looks like it was transported from a bygone era!

The new venture, that hopes to become a regular meeting place for magicians and magic enthusiast in the Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, and North Texas region, was designed by Clark and Marcia May.

With decor reminiscent of New Orleans, the Magic Shop & Theater are poshly decorated with antiques and unusual Magic memorabilia.

The stained-glass over the main showroom entrance is from the old Marrakesh hotel in Morocco; a region of the world known for ancient magic!

Marcia May stands in front of one of two planters that goes in front of the Magic Shop entrance. The planters were custom designed and build by the Mays.

The couple purchased the building outright because it was affordable and because it’s located near an interstate and is between two university towns.

Even though the Magic Shop and Theater are small, approximately 1200 square feet, that won’t stop us from making it grand . . . And a lot of fun too!
